Reflections

Over a number of weeks I photographed an old car yard becoming mesmerized by the many layers of age and decay perceivable if one looked closely enough. The car wrecks have become more than piles of abandoned metal waiting to be dismantled over time. They are reflections on human histories. Each wreck holds clues about past lives and human experiences.  The juxtoposition of the reflected trees tells a story of the gradual submission of everything man made back to nature.
